Volleyball
The Crescenta Valley girls varsity volleyball team lost last week to Burroughs 3-0, but rebounded since then and went 6-0 in the Crescenta Valley Tournament, beating teams such as Alta Loma, Kennedy and Westridge High School. The Falcons are back against the Pacific League, as they were at Burbank High on Tuesday, and host Muir today at 3:30 p.m.
CV was 7-3 in league starting this week, in third place behind Arcadia and Burroughs.

Football
The Falcon football team is rolling along as took the win from Burroughs High School on Sept. 27, at home, 28-7. CV is 6-0 heading into Friday’s matchup with Burbank at Burroughs High School’s Memorial Stadium.
CV is tied with Arcadia in league at 3-0, with Burbank tied for second at 2-1.
