Sept. 30
2100 block of La Cañada Crest Drive in La Cañada, a gym bag, laptop computer, iPad, iPhone and clothing were stolen and a passenger side window of a vehicle smashed between 1 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

5400 block of Palm Drive in La Cañada, an Apple Watch and other personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

 

Sept. 28
900 block of Coral Way in La Cañada, personal information was stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.

 

Sept. 26
2700 block of Pinelawn Drive in La Crescenta, a woman left her home locking all the doors but leaving a glass door ajar. When she returned she found the door from the garage to the interior residence door unlocked. Several rooms were ransacked and jewelry was missing.
The residential burglary occurred between 12 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

 

Sept. 25
4800 block of El Sereno Street in La Crescenta, a package was stolen from the porch of a home between Sept. 25-28.

900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada, a man had been at the outdoor patio seating at the area working on his gray MacBook Pro laptop computer. When he packed up to leave, he left his laptop on the table. It wasn’t until later he realized he had left it. He went back to see if anyone found the laptop. The man spoke to the maintenance person at the location who said he had found a laptop similar to what the man had lost but it had already been claimed by another person.
A woman, described as white, 5’2” to 5’3” with long blond hair and slender build wearing a red T-shirt and blue jeans, had asked him if he had found a laptop. The maintenance person reportedly did not ask her any specific questions about the laptop and gave it to her. She walked away from the location with a white adult male. The investigation is ongoing as surveillance footage being reviewed.
The incident occurred between 12:50 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

 

Sept. 21
4700 block of Castle Road in La Cañada, a woman reported that her husband found bruises on the back of her son, who is 23 but has the mental capacity of a 2-year-old. She reported the bruising was found after her son had been at a San Gabriel daycare facility.
