Thousands Take Part in Oktoberfest 2018

Thousands of guests swarmed the streets of Montrose Shopping Park for the 41st Annual Oktoberfest, organized by the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce. The event spanned nearly one-half mile from Orangedale Avenue (Trader Joe’s) to Market Street (Paradise Tan), and featured live music across three stages including the popular ’80s and ’90s cover band Past Action Heroes. There was Bavarian foods and beers, local craft brews, wine as well as contests, German Oom-pah music, a VIP beer garden, carnival games, rides, kids’ play area, and even a pre-Oktoberfest yoga class to limber up before the all-day-into-the-night event.
