The Glendale Police Dept. stopped by Rosemont Middle School recently with its pink patrol vehicles and motorcycles to bring attention to October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. GPD was at the school during lunch and was a perfect companionship event with Girl Scout Troop 1591 and its Silver Award project. Girl Scouts, and eighth graders, Sooji Kim, Evelyn Kapae and Stephanie Harada handed out breast cancer informational cards decorated with pink ribbons to students and teachers.
