McGroarty Arts Center is presents its 16th Annual Chili Bowl Fest and Holiday Art & Craft Faire over the weekend of Dec. 1-2. This year’s event will be expansive, offering the beautiful handmade creations of 35 local artisans within the historic McGroarty Arts Center and throughout the upper parking lot.
On Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is the Chili Bowl Fest and Holiday Art & Craft Faire. There will be a large variety of chili bowls handmade by McGroarty ceramics students and staff. Come pick a one-of-a-kind bowl, then have it filled with delicious homemade chili and add favorite toppings. In addition, there will be craft beer and drinks, live music, a bake sale, tables where to eat, and art and craft vendors filling the Center and the upper parking lot for a total of 35 unique vendors.
On Sunday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is more of a family and kids’ holiday event. Chili will be served in handmade bowls. In addition, there will be a photo op with Santa, Christmas music, cookie painting for the kids and more. Bountiful shopping opportunities for unique holiday gifts provided by the art and craft vendors.
