World-renowned saxophonist Katja Rieckermann, who previously performed with legendary rock icon Rod Stewart, received a warm welcome from the foothills community at her recent autograph session at Mediaworks Records in Sunland earlier this month. Rieckermann was presented with a proclamation from the office of Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez by Eve Sinclair for her outstanding contributions to the music industry. 

The event was hosted by guest DJ/comedian Jeffrey Keller from KPFK 90.7 FM.
