Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has identified the body of a woman found on Angeles Crest Highway as Karina Alcaraz, 27.

The woman’s body was found by U.S. Forestry employees on the Crest at mile marker 31 on Nov. 17 at about 10:30 a.m.

“We are investigating it as a suspicious death or homicide,” said Lt. Moore, LASD, Homicide Bureau. 

LA County Coroner’s spokeswoman Sarah Ardalani said blunt force head trauma was the cause of death.
