3600 block of Karen Sue Lane in La Cañada, a wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 3:05 a.m.

Nov. 24

800 Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, an employee noticed a cellphone had been stolen from a display mount. He reviewed the surveillance footage and discovered three male suspects walk into the store. The first suspect picked up the phone and had a conversation with the second suspect. The third suspect appeared to be “casing” the store area. Then suspects three and four appeared to block the view from the employees of suspect one, who took the phone from the display, placed it in his pocket and left using the back entrance to the store. The theft occurred at 4:02 p.m. 

Nov. 21

400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a young man was sitting inside a business working on his laptop computer when he reported witnessing two people run past him and grab his iPhone. He reported that the theft happened so fast he did not have time to react. He began yelling at them to stop and followed them outside the business as they ran across the street. He then lost sight of them. 

The first suspect is described as a male black between 19 and 20 years old, wearing a red hat, grey hoodie, black pants, orange shoes and carrying a black backpack. The second suspect was described as a female black, 19 to 20 years old, wearing a grey hoodie and black pants. The theft occurred at 7:29 p.m.

Nov. 12

4800 block of Briggs Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident received a phone call from an unknown person stating that the former owner of the home had been seen going into the residence and taking several appliances. The homeowner went to the residence and found several appliances, including a refrigerator, washer and dryer, missing from the home. The theft occurred overnight. 

Nov. 6

4600 block of Lasheart Drive in La Cañada, someone entered a resident’s garage and stole seven motorcycles between Nov. 6 and Nov. 20.
