The Crescenta Valley High School Falcon varsity boys’ basketball team won its Pacific League opener on Tuesday at Hoover High School when they downed the Tornadoes 79-47. In the easy win, Tyler Carlson had 22 points to lead the team, and he connected on five three-pointers. Andreyas Boghossian helped with 20 points.
CV is undefeated in the early season, having swept the Heritage Classic Tip-Off Classic in mid-November, and Northeast Valley Varsity Tournament last week. On Friday, the Falcons travel to Pasadena to play the Bulldogs, a notoriously difficult place for Coach Shawn Zargarian and his team.
On Dec. 11 the team is at Burroughs before finally playing its first home league game on Dec. 14 against Burbank at 7 p.m.
