An unexpected guest surprised La Canada residents  in the 5600 block of  Ocean View Boulevard on Sunday afternoon when a late model sedan slammed into a  home.

“I was in another room watching TV when I heard a loud crash,” said Rayyan Ibrahim, son of the homeowners. “I looked out the window and saw the car [on the front of the property].I didn’t know there was any damage until the deputies knocked on my door.”

Ibrahim said he was told by deputies that the car was apparently making a U-turn into nearby Bristow Drive and was coming back onto Ocean View when it may have lost control, hitting the Ibrahim house.

According to Sgt. Taylor of the LA Sheriff’s Dept.-CV Station, there was only one occupant of the vehicle.

“She was transported to the hospital,” he said. There were no obvious injuries although the airbag in the vehicle did deploy.
