Community activist and local resident Sharon Raghavachary was recently sworn in as the newest member of the board of directors of the Crescenta Valley Water District. Raghavachary is a former member of the Crescenta Valley Town Council and was on the steering committee of the Community Standards District, which provides opinion on design standards for Foothill Boulevard in the unincorporated Los Angeles County area to the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission.
