Frank Quintero Elected to Glendale City Council

At a special meeting of the Glendale City Council on Friday, the Council voted unanimously to appoint Frank Quintero to fill the seat on the council caused by the June 11 resignation of Zareh Sinanyan. More than 47 Glendale residents submitted their names to be considered for the opening. Quintero wrote in his submission that he would not be seeking the office at the next election in March 2020. Quintero was first elected to the council in 2001. Sinanyan resigned mid-term to become Armenia’s High Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs.
