Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 34.14, Angeles National Forest, the rear window of a vehicle was shattered and two purses were stolen between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

 

June 21

900 block of Monarch Drive in La Cañada, the interior of two unlocked vehicles was ransacked. Surveillance footage showed a suspect, described as a male Hispanic, 5’9” tall and weighing about 200 lbs., parking a white SUV, possibly at 2019 Jeep Cherokee, across from the location. He walked up the driveway and entered one vehicle at a time. He was seen ransacking each vehicle. He then left out of sight.

The theft occurred at 3:25 a.m.

 

5600 block of Bramblewood Road in La Cañada, several rooms were ransacked and items were stolen from a home between 6:40 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

 

3900 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada, while a resident was sleeping in his bedroom he heard a crackling noise. He walked downstairs and saw the sliding glass door had been shattered. He reviewed surveillance footage and saw two male suspects walk onto his property. The suspects walked up the driveway and into the resident’s backyard. They walked toward the area where the glass door was located. The suspects were then observed running out of view. The burglary occurred at 10 p.m.

 

June 20

3000 block of Evelyn Street in La Crescenta, the front passenger window of a vehicle was shattered and the interior was ransacked at 1:55 p.m.

 

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee of a store reported witnessing a woman, described as white, 5’2” tall, weighing about 180 pounds with blond hair and at the time wearing a gray T-shirt with a large white star on the chest, blue jeans and black tennis shoes, enter the store. She was accompanied by a man, described as white, 6’1” tall, 240 lbs. with brown hair, goatee and mustache who at the time was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. The couple walked throughout the store and filled a shopping cart with a variety of items. The male suspect left the store and walked to a white, late model Toyota Prius. He opened the hatchback and the female suspect bypassed several checkout stands with the cart of items. She walked out of the store and placed the items into the vehicle.

The couple then drove away from the location at 9:09 p.m.

 

400 block of Somerset Place in La Cañada, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole the 2020 registration paperwork overnight.

 

800 block of Monarch Drive in La Cañada, the interior of two unlocked vehicles was ransacked overnight.
