omforting, cozy, comfy, safe – these are words that come to mind when I think of Faye’s. Did you know Faye’s has been in the Montrose Shopping Park since 1949? Not many stores have the honor of saying that, especially in ever-changing Southern California. Owner Pat Grant came to Montrose from Cabool, Mo. when she was a teen to live with her Aunt Faye. Faye took Pat under her wing and taught her the retail business. Faye passed on in 1980, leaving Pat to carry on with her daughter Linda Hattick.

Faye’s is a prominent site at the corner of Honolulu and Ocean View avenues. They specialize in women’s lingerie. This is where you come for cozy p.j.’s, nightgowns and robes from Lanz, Miss Elaine’s, Oscar de la Renta, DKNY, and more. There is an incredible selection here in all kinds of colors. Of course, there are lots of comfy slippers to match, many by Dearfoam. Faye’s is also the place to come for all of your undergarments. I think they carry every bodyshaper known to man. Forget the tummy tuck ladies! Just come to Faye’s and they will fix you up. The hot selling line Spanx is here as well as the best fitting bras on the planet by Wacoal. These bras sell for $60 and are worth every penny. You will see what I mean when you try one on. You’ll never go back to those cheap bras from the bargain stores. The staff at Faye’s is well trained in how all of these things should fit. Valerie and Karen are there on most days and are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

Faye’s is open seven days a week for your shopping pleasure. When you walk through the front door you feel like you have stepped into an environment where all is well with the world.
