3000 Hopeton Road, a valuable coin collection was stolen from a home between May 4 and July 4.

3900 block of Alta Vista Drive in La Cañada, deputies responded to a burglary alarm call to the location. They found the front door open and a window shattered. A safe was found on the back patio. The resident said nothing appeared to be stolen.

The burglary call occurred at 1:50 p.m.

400 block of Georgian Road in La Cañada, a laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

500 block of La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, several packages that had been delivered to a home were stolen at 7:17 a.m.

300 block of St. Katherine Drive in La Cañada, a window was shattered at a home; nothing appeared to be stolen at 7:45 p.m.

500 block of Hillard Avenue in La Cañada, the interior of a locked vehicle was ransacked and a Metro Express fast track device was stolen. The owner felt the suspect was able to enter his vehicle via a “universal-type key.”

The theft occurred overnight.

2400 block of Carol Park Place in Montrose, the front driver’s door key lock was punched and a cellphone charger and other personal items were stolen from a vehicle overnight.
