UPDATE: Two Women Severely Attacked by Man in Glendale

The Glendale Police Dept. is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a male accused of assault on his 25-year-old fiancée and her mother. Officers were dispatched to a home on the 600 block of West Wilson at about 4:15 a.m. on July 19. Brian Cruz, 28, had fled the residence, leaving his fiancée in critical condition and her mother in serious condition. 

Cruz is described as a Hispanic man, 5’11” tall, and about 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Cruz was driving a black GMC Sierra pickup truck, with a black license plate, number BCG1129.

Glendale police are currently looking for a male suspect who was involved in a violent attack against two women.

“Officers responded to multiple calls at 4:15 this morning,” said Sgt. Ernesto Gaxiola, Glendale Police Dept.

When officers arrived at the apartment in the 600 block of Wilson they found two female victims, a mother and daughter, who had severe injuries.

The male Hispanic suspect was described to be in his 20s to 30s with black hair, 5’11” tall and weighing 200 pounds.

“The suspect is one of the victim’s fiancé,” Gaxiola said.

Calls for help came from neighbors and from the victims.

Gaxiola praised the victims for their “toughness” for calling and being able to relay helpful information about the attack.

GPD has not had calls to this apartment concerning domestic violence in the past.
