Mini Swap Meet & Designer Boutique

Center for Spiritual Living-La Crescenta is hosting a mini swap meet and designer boutique on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fantastic bargains, dresses, shoes, hats and more. There will be individual vendors on-site, too. No presale in the boutique in Chaffee Hall. Doors will open promptly at 9 a.m.

This Week at LCIF

All are invited to Lutheran Church in the Foothills on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 9 a.m. for a time of education for all ages. Family worship time begins at 10 a.m. led by Pastor Scott Peterson who will be presenting his sermon “Beware of the Pirate Pigs.” All are welcome!

Walk and Word

Spend time Sunday mornings discovering Scripture while hiking Deukmejian Park. Participants meet at 8 a.m. at the parking lot (3429 Markridge Road, La Crescenta) on all but the first Sunday of each month. There will not be a Sunday morning walk on Aug. 4.

Hike for an hour, then journal and share for an hour about a selection of Scripture. All are invited who feel drawn to this alternative spiritual activity under the guidance of CV United Methodist Church lay minister Jeanne Lavieri.

For those interested but unable to hike, several picnic tables with wheelchair access are available.
