2900 block of El Caminito Drive in La Crescenta, several items were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
4800 block of Hampton Road in La Cañada, a resident returned to find a glass door had been shattered, several rooms ransacked and items stolen from a home between noon and 3:30 p.m.
Aug. 1
2000 block of Lyans Drive in La Cañada, a glass door window was smashed, several rooms were ransacked and items were stolen from a home between 7:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
1000 block of Ridgecliff Lane in La Cañada, a resident returned home to find his front door unlocked; it had been secured before he left the house earlier. Several rooms had been ransacked.
The residential burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 8:15 p.m.
July 31
300 block of Georgian Road in La Cañada, a witness saw two men, both described as 5’10” tall, weighing about 185 pounds, wearing dark clothing who were shielding their faces with possible ski masks, running from the side yard of a residence across from the street from his location. At the same time the homeowner received a notice from his motion sensor in the home that someone had triggered the system in the laundry room. He saw two suspects via surveillance, called 9-1-1 and drove to his home. After an investigation it was found that a glass door window that led to the laundry had been smashed and several rooms had been ransacked.
The residential burglary occurred at 4:21 p.m.
4100 block of Forest Hill Drive in La Cañada, jewelry was stolen and a glass door was shattered at a home. A resident reported returning home to find that someone had entered her home and ransacked several rooms. An investigation found that fuses had been turned off in the exterior fuse box of the home. The shower was on in one of the bathrooms and a deputy found two hard drives from a computer in the bathtub with water running over them. A computer monitor that was hanging in the garage has several exposed wires. The hard drives that were found in the bathtub originally hung in the garage where the exposed wires were found. The hard drives contained surveillance footage of the home. Several items were found to be stolen.

July 30
4700 block of Alta Canyada Road in La Cañada, a resident was contacted by her neighbor stating the victim’s home was being “broken into” and that he saw two males in the back house of the home. The victim immediately called 9-1-1. Deputies responded and found a glass door had been smashed and several items had been stolen between 6:45 p.m. and 6:58 p.m.
5500 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada, an employee of the golf club stated for the past several weeks he had issues with someone using the pool after hours. When he came to work this day he found the Ping Pong table in the pool area had been moved and items in the area were missing. Surveillance footage revealed three white males and two white females jumping the fence around the pool, then getting into the unlocked freezer near the pool area, eating ice cream and loitering in the pool. They left in a grey Toyota Prius or possibly a white Audi. Deputies are reviewing the surveillance footage.
The incident occurred between 11 p.m. and 11:50 p.m.
