The Pasadena Independent School Foundation (PISF) received the Outstanding Private Foundation award at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Nov. 8.
PISF promotes philanthropic work among students from 11 area schools.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of the 15 students from Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy who volunteer at PISF were Riley Gilmartin, Elizabeth Rojas, Brianna Silverman, and Elizabeth and Madeleine Togneri.
