Crescenta Valley High School dance has completed auditions and this year’s CV’s “Got Talent” is in rehearsals.
The show’s dance class expanded its winter performance a few years ago to include the talented students of CVHS.
“When we get everything done it will be an amazing show. We have so much talent at this school. This will be a show you won’t want to miss,” said Collette Momzjian a dancer with Advanced Dance.
This year’s acts include two vocalists, a yo-yo expert, cellists and the band Living in July.
Still at its foundation is dance, an art form the class takes very seriously. The show allows the dancers to showcase their talents as well.
“We get to show other people that dance is an art and is able to express how you feel about your surroundings,” said Alex Crawford, Advanced Dance member.
The show is on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at CVHS MacDonald Auditorium. This year the funds raised are even more important. Due to the economic times, Dance has had its allowed budget cut in half. This is their biggest fundraiser.
Next week CV Weekly will highlight the CV’s Got Talent performers.
