The Glendale-Burbank-Crescenta Valley Republican Assembly (GBRA] held its 83rd annual picnic in the shade of the Jeffers Estate on the afternoon of Sunday, Sept. 15. Guests had the chance to meet George Papadopoulos, a former member of the foreign advisory panel to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, and his wife Simona Mangiante. Hundreds of Republicans and GBRA members came from different areas to meet Papadopoulos and take selfies. The gathering was pleased to hear that he and his wife might move to Orange County and consider running for congressional office. It was especially nice to see former Supervisor Mike Antonovich stop by, as well as other Republican candidates including Eric Early.

The weather, food, lovely grounds and Sardo Brothers’ Band were so delightful that the protestors out front were easily ignored.
