Saddleridge Brush Fire Update from Los Angeles City Fire as of 4:22 a.m.:

The fire has burned over 4,000 acres, a more accurate assessment will be made after sunrise. The fire is 0% contained.
Evacuations include: All of Porter Ranch, north of the 118 freeway from Reseda Boulevard to DeSoto Avenue Oakridge Estates, north of the 210 freeway and west of Balboa, north of Sesnon to the Ventura County border with DeSoto as the western border. Homes have been destroyed, there is not an estimated number at this time.

Winds are expected to increase after sunrise.

Road closures include:

The 210 freeway in both directions from the 5 to the 118 freeways. Southbound 14 freeway from Newhall to Santa Clarita, the 5 through Newhall Pass-Southbound from Calgrove Boulevard, and Northbound from Roxford Street and the 405 freeway is closed at the 118.

The freeway closures are expected to affect traffic on Foothill Boulevard.
