Dunsmore Goes Pink in October

Dunsmore Elementary School collected $1,360 that will be donated to Project Angel Share and Breast Cancer Angels. PTA and the Dunsmore Elementary School Foundation raised the funds by selling pink Dunsmore shirts and pink ribbon socks.

Dunsmore had “Wear Pink Wednesdays” during the month of October to show its support for those who have been affected by breast cancer. The tradition of wearing pink started 10 years ago when one of the school’s parents was fighting the disease. This year there are at least two families affected.
