The Assistance League® of Flintridge (ALF) presented Disney’s “Aladdin Kids” at Lanterman Auditorium on Oct. 25. Actors in grades three through six hosted an evening of song and dance for family and friends.
Katelyn Fike directed the play. Tristan Waldron assisted with song and dance numbers. Nancy Abbott was the accompanist.
The role of Aladdin was shared by Chase Trimble and Reed Nassir. Jasmine, the ambitious princess, was played by Sarah Quan and Cozette Rinde. The magical spirited Genie was portrayed by Declan Conwell and Ophelia Larsen. The villainous Jafar was performed by Austin Huang and Tristan Larsen. The Sultan queen was performed by Sienna Willis and the Sultan king was Finn Miller.
Each fall and winter ALF offers after-school drama programs for local students. The next production, “Singin’ in the Rain Jr.” for grades five through 10 will begin rehearsals on Jan. 7.
