Busy, Busy, Busy – Got to Love December!

It’s amazing how fast time passes. Here we are in December 2019 with a thousand events looming this month. The annual Montrose Christmas Parade along Honolulu Avenue is this Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning at 6:10 p.m. Our Chamber will have a float this year pulled by a vintage Ford tractor.

On Tuesday, Dec. 10 our Chamber will be hosting the largest business mixer of the year. Called the “Mega-Mixer,” it will be held at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital community room (entrance on the fourth floor) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Glendale, Montrose, Sunland-Tujunga and the Crescenta Valley chambers will each be present.

Our annual tree lighting ceremony will be held at the La Crescenta Library on Thursday, Dec. 12. The event begins at 3:30 p.m. with activities for kids, crafts, free photos with Santa, live music and the tree lighting. We would also like to mention our newest Chamber member, CamperSnaps, a mobile photo booth camper rental. Hosted by Emmanuel Munda, it’s ideal for birthday parties and all special occasions. Lastly, it is my pleasure to announce the Chamber’s new executive director, Mr. Steve Pierce. Steve is well known in the community for his many selfless activities. We are honored to welcome him on board.
