2700 block of Fairmount Avenue in La Crescenta, detectives continue their investigation of an isolated incident that occurred at 1 p.m.
Dec. 13
2100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a wife and husband reportedly drove into the parking lot at the location. The husband went inside a business while the wife stayed in the car to make a phone call. A vehicle soon pulled into the parking lot to the right of her vehicle. All four windows of the parking vehicle were rolled down. She heard the driver say something but was not clear as to what he said because her vehicle windows were rolled up.
She looked downward, toward the parked vehicle, and saw the driver’s pants were pulled down around his thighs while he exposed himself and pleasured himself. She immediately called her husband who came out of the business. As he approached the car it quickly drove away.
The car is described as a small, older model grey Japanese-make sedan with faded, rusted paint and a burgundy roof. The suspect was described as a black male, about 25 years old with a skinny build. The incident occurred at 10:15 a.m.

5800 Irving Avenue in La Crescenta, a man reported receiving two letters denying the opening of a bank account due to the inability of the bank to verify his identity. The man had not attempted to open a new bank account. He reported the incident to his bank as fraud. The other letter he received informed him an E-Trade account had been opened in his name. He had not opened this account and reported it as fraud.
The notices were received on Nov. 19 and Nov. 20.
