Montrose Shopping Park celebrated Valentine’s Day early on Saturday by handing roses to shoppers as they strolled down Honolulu Avenue.

Sponsored by the Montrose Shopping Park Association, there was a large rose cart at the southeast corner of Ocean View Boulevard and Honolulu Avenue, along with a special photo opportunity. Handing out the long stemmed beauties was Charlie Chaplain, aka Audrey Ruttan, a Valentine staple in the shopping park.

Not only was the fragrance of roses in the air, but so was the sound of music. On the northwest corner, the group Monday@JoJo’s shared an energetic performance of classics.
