On Feb. 17, the La Crescenta Woman’s Club Evening Section welcomed representatives from the Montrose Search and Rescue team as its speakers. The team is composed of dedicated volunteers from the local community who respond to calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Whether the call is for a lost or injured hiker, skier, or rock climber, the Montrose Search and Rescue team is always ready to respond.

LCWC presented a check in the amount of $500 as part of its philanthropy outreach. The next event the LCWC is hosting is its annual fashion show and luncheon on Saturday, March 21. Tickets are available by contacting the club.
