Friedman to Host Virtual Town Hall with LAUSD Boardmember Jackie Goldberg

On Saturday, May 2 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Assemblymember Laura Friedman will host a virtual hall when she will speak with board member Jackie Goldberg and administrators from Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) about the issues Los Angeles students and families are facing due to school closures, stay-at-home orders and the other challenges of the COVID-19 crisis. Panelists will discuss how they’re implementing remote learning, and providing meals and mental health services for students and their families.

Participants are encouraged to submit any questions in relation to education during the COVID-19 crisis prior to the virtual town hall by emailing: Assemblymember.Friedman@Assembly.ca.gov
