TAPS Support Those Grieving a Loss of a Family Member

TAPS [Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors] has provided comfort, care and resources to those grieving the death of a military loved one since 1994. The nonprofit organization has provided 24/7 support through a national peer support network. Although its focus has been on military families it has expanded its resource support information to those who are grieving the loss of loved ones due to COVID-19.

The organization has created a page on its website that shares resources and information for those non-military families who have lost a loved one due to COVID-19. Visit www.taps.org/covid

For those who have lost a loved one who has served in the military, visit www.taps.org for support and information. The support is for any family who had loved ones serve in the military at any time; they did not have to lose their life while serving.

“If you are grieving the loss of a fallen service member, or if you know someone who can use our support, the TAPS 24/7 National Military Survivor Helpline is always available toll-free with loving support and resources at 800-959-TAPS (8277),” according to the website.
