Thanks to the CV Weekly April 23 article shedding light on the need for donations at local food banks, Betty Bredemann mobilized La Cañada Boy Scout Troop 501 to help. Through a two-week front yard food drive, the Scouts collected over 50 bags of groceries from the generosity of neighbors. The groceries were loaded up and delivered to the Glendale Salvation Army.

“We hope this effort will help make a difference during this time of crisis,” said Bredemann.
