Given recent activities throughout Los Angeles County, the County has issued a countywide curfew that will go into effect at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 2 and last until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3. The City of La Cañada Flintridge values and respects the right of free speech and peaceful assemblies. The sheriff’s department will be monitoring any gatherings or rallies to ensure free speech is exercised lawfully, safely and respectfully. The City of La Cañada Flintridge and the sheriff’s department will continue to monitor events and will provide updates as warranted.

To our community members peacefully protesting for justice, we continue to stand with you. There will be another curfew in place tonight, June 2, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. to protect residents and businesses from outliers who may take advantage for looting and destruction.
