Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a residence fire in the 2700 block of Orange Avenue in La Crescenta at 7:07 p.m. today, June 5.

As of 7:44 p.m. the fire had been knocked down, according to Maria Grycan, spokeswoman for LACoFD.

One firefighter was injured. Grycan did not have information on the extent of those injuries. There were no other injuries reported.

The cause and extent of the damage was not known at the time.
