CVCA Meets Tonight
The Crescenta Valley Community Association will have its monthly meeting tonight, Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. The time was changed due to the public meeting on the Palmdale to Burbank section of the California High Speed Rail from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00. Glendale Unveils Virtual Memorial to Celebrate Lives of COVID-19 Victims
On Oct. 16 the City of Glendale unveiled a web-based, virtual memorial to remember and honor the Glendale residents who have lost their lives to COVID-19. The virtual memorial will host submitted stories and photos of residents that will be publicly available for all to see.
Residents are encouraged to share stories about their family, friends and neighbors through an online form that can be accessed at www.glendaleca.gov/COVIDMemorial.

CVTC Streets and Transportation Committee Meeting

NWGHA Hosts Councilmembers
Councilmembers Dan Brotman and Ardy Kassakhian will be guest speakers at the virtual 2020 annual meeting of Northwest Glendale Homeowners Association on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. It’s open to all interested residents.
Registration for the Zoom meeting is required at www.nwglendaleha.org.
NWGHA has a tradition of inviting all newly-elected councilmembers to speak at these meetings. Attendees will be able to ask questions of the two via the “Chat” function.

Free Flu Shot Clinic
LA County Dept. of Public Health is partnering with LA County Library to provide free flu vaccines to people 6 months of age and older; no health insurance required. La Crescenta Library will be having a free flu shot clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 27 (note the date change) from noon to 4 p.m.
Drive-through options available at select locations. Physical distancing, masking requirements, additional disinfecting and other measures will be in place at each free flu shot clinic location to prioritize the safety of our customers and staff.
