A male pedestrian in his early 20s was struck by a vehicle driven by a woman in her mid-30s at Orange and Rosemont avenues.
The pedestrian was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
“The [accident] is under investigation. We are not sure if the [pedestrian] was in the cross walk,” said California Highway Patrol Officer Vince Ramirez.
The investigating officer reported that the pedestrian was apparently looking for a dog at the time of the accident, which may have led him to be in the street.
The incident occurred at 5:45 p.m.
