CVTC Meets Tonight, Thursday
The general meeting of the Crescenta Valley Town Council takes place virtually tonight, Thursday, at 7 p.m. In addition to regular business items, the Council will discuss the Eagle Canyon/Channel Trial Project.

CVWD Completes Line Repair
On Tuesday evening, Nov. 17, Crescenta Valley Water District construction crew worked on a needed repair of a one-inch service line. According to a CVWD spokesperson, crewmembers started work about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and finished around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
One home, 5004 Ramsdell Ave., was without water for a couple of hours.

CVTC Streets and Transportation Committee Meeting
The next virtual meeting of the CV Town Council streets and Transportation Committee is on Nov. 24 at 6 p.m.

Mini-Grants Offered to Teachers
The Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma is offering grants of up to $500 to public school teachers to be used to purchase teaching resources, equipment, classroom projects or conference attendance. The mission of Delta Kappa Gamma is to promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. During this time of in-class and remote learning, teachers face new challenges that may create additional needs.
