La Perla Design Gallery is holding it ribbon cutting ceremony, in conjunction with the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce, at 5 p.m. on Oct. 8 in celebration of its grand opening. La Perla is located at 2315 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose.

La Perla Design Gallery’s concept was to introduce a new type of retail brand to the Montrose Shopping district. The concept is introduce a boutique style gallery that is very contemporary, stylish, and modern. The owners wanted to feature products that are unique and are sold only in boutiques and galleries around the country. They boast products from local artists in Pasadena, Glendale, the East Coast, Louisiana, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East and carry table top gifts, home décor and fashion jewelry for all occasions and different budgets. Featured brands include Jay Strongwater, Michael Aram, L’Objet, Beatrize Ball, Mustardseed and Moonshine, John Wind, Gorgio Martello Milan, IAR and many more.

The grand opening kicks off a three day celebration of opening a local gallery.
