Slowly but Surely
The second month of the year is off to a good start and we couldn’t be more thrilled for our small business members and community. While the pandemic is still very prevalent, things are definitely starting to look up. Vaccinations are in process and slowly our small town is reopening. We have high hopes that everyone will keep practicing COVID-19 safety measures to ensure we continue on this upward path.
We have a few exciting events coming up and we look forward to the possibility of resuming some of our end-of-the-year bigger events. Stay tuned!

Chamber Updates
A special thank you to Chris Ryder from CR Digital Solutions for giving our Montrose small businesses some tips on how to spend their marketing dollars online. For anyone who missed it, you can view the webinar on our website, MontroseChamber.org.
Upcoming Virtual Events
Feb. 9: “Vegetable Garden Startup” via Zoom. Save the date and stay tuned for more details. You can email us to ensure you receive the details when we have them. mvcc@montrosechamber.org
Feb. 24 from 4-8 p.m.: Join us for our first fundraiser at Chipotle in La Cañada. Mention us or check out our website/social media for the flyer to present at checkout. Your support means the world to us; thank you in advance!
March 18 at noon: Montrose Barbershop’s virtual ribbon cutting via Facebook and Instagram. Montrose Barbershop has been a staple in our community since the 1940s and we are taking this opportunity to throw them a virtual ribbon cutting. Follow us on our social media or visit our website to watch their ribbon cutting and to leave them an encouraging note in the comments section.
Lastly, there are many different chamber opportunities and ways you can get involved. Anyone interested in joining the chamber can reach out to us for more information. We would love to host your virtual ribbon cutting ceremony and help promote you on our social media plus e-blasts. There are also sponsorships available for our upcoming webinars (opportunities as low as $50). Get in contact with us for more information.
Stay safe, be well and please keep supporting local businesses (if Amazon has it, one of our shops does, too, just let us know what item you are seeking and we can advise you of the shop that has it!).
