Verdugo Hills Council, BSA Presents ‘Webelos Woods on the Web’

The Verdugo Hills Council, Boy Scouts of America will hold its first virtual Webelos Woods event on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. via Zoom. This event is open to youth 10 years of age and older interested in joining a Scout troop.

Webelos Woods is an annual event designed to introduce fifth grade and sixth grade boys and girls to Scout troop activities, which are geared to youth 11-17 years of age. Webelos are older Cub Scouts and often use this opportunity to choose future Scout troops.

Verdugo Hills Council continues this program safely with a virtual event that uses separate breakout rooms per troop, enabling prospective Scouts to visit as many troops as they wish in one hour to experience the unique style of each unit.

Attendees must have a parent or guardian present during the entirety of the Zoom visit.
