Community Scholarship Foundation of LCF Now Accepting Online Applications

The Community Scholarship Foundation of La Cañada Flintridge (CSF) is now accepting scholarship applications from 2021 graduating high school seniors.

CSF embraces dedicated learners who want to attend a junior college, four-year college, or trade or technical school. Eligibility requirements include applications from students with a minimum 3.0 GPA who attend one the following schools: Crescenta Valley High School, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, Flintridge Preparatory School, Hillside School and Learning Center, La Cañada High School or St. Francis High School.

CSF Vice President of Scholarships, Rose Linda Gonzales, encourages high school seniors to visit csflacanada.org to submit an online application. All applications and additional required information must be received by April 18. Successful award recipients will be notified by May 16, and their award will be publicly announced at their school’s awards night.

Scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,000. CSF looks at the whole student and the variety of circumstances by which they live. Rather than simply relying on a GPA, CSF looks at the person behind the grades. Special circumstances are given careful consideration when determining who receives a scholarship. CSF believes all children deserve an opportunity to thrive and live life to their fullest potential and that educational dreams beyond high school are to be considered and supported with financial assistance; hence, the CSF motto: “Inspiring and Encouraging Achievement through Scholarships Since 1964!”

CSF is a community-supported foundation established in 1964; it is exclusively run by volunteers with 99% of all funds received going to scholarships. Over the past 57 years, CSF has awarded over $1 million!
