COVID-19 vaccinations are now available to everyone who wants one who is 16 and older, and recent reports indicate that the demand for vaccinations has decreased substantially due to hesitancy about taking the vaccine in the remaining unvaccinated population. Accordingly, we have seen restrictions on live theater eased to the point that reopening is possible on a very limited basis; however, few theaters have been able to return to live performances and so online offerings continue to be the mainstay of local offerings.
Local theme parks have reopened or are reopening soon, at limited capacity, which is a welcome relief to many enthusiasts who are flocking to them in droves. Most require advance reservations online as well as advance ticket purchases. Patrons will need an app for many to be able to take full advantage of those attractions that have reopened. Attendance is limited to California resident visitors in most parks. Please check their websites for details and availability before planning a trip to them.

The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter every day now, but until we finally reach the other side of this pandemic everyone is encouraged to continue to stay safe by wearing a facemask and practicing proper social distancing whenever outside in public and always when required by a place of business, even if you have already been vaccinated.
