Allan F. Daily High School and Verdugo Academy each graduated its Class of 2021 on Friday, June 11 with an in-person ceremony on Moyse Field at Glendale High School. Daily High’s class numbered 65 graduates. Verdugo Academy, an independent study program, graduated 31 students. Families and guests were invited to attend.

A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of roses. This is a graduation tradition at Daily/Verdugo Academy. As graduates are awarded their diploma, they also receive a red rose to present to someone who inspired them to complete their high school education and graduate.

The vast majority of graduates are continuing their education, ranging from four-year universities and colleges to community colleges, specialty trade schools and the U.S. military. One of the graduates is an accomplished classical pianist and will be attending the Cleveland Institute of Music.
