City of Glendale Mayor Paula Devine recently visited the Gogian House to reconnect with The Campbell Center (TCC) associates for a luncheon and to present their daily activities at the home. Before the luncheon, several residents gave a tour of the home to Mayor Devine and TCC leadership, which included an overview of the virtual services provided by The Campbell Center throughout the pandemic, like virtual art lessons and field trips to increase digital literacy. Several residents were excited to show off their artwork they had made during the pandemic and gifted their personal paintings and drawings to Mayor Devine.
“I was grateful for the opportunity to visit and experience, firsthand, the wonderful work The Campbell Center does,” said Mayor Devine.
“We are so grateful for the mayor’s attendance,” added David Fields, executive director, The Campbell Center. “We can’t wait to have her back again soon.”
