Lightwave, a temporary and interactive light art installation, will join the community of Downtown Glendale through Nov. 12. Designed to honor the physical distance needed to maintain and promote the health and well-being of the public, Lightwave requires community involvement to tell the story of how physical distance refuses to interrupt social connection during the COVID 19 pandemic.
An art unveiling took place on Oct. 9 at the Central Park Paseo (216 N. Brand Blvd. in Glendale), directly next to the Museum of Neon Art.
This installation is part of the Art Happens Anywhere (AHA) Program and is sponsored by the City of Glendale Arts and Culture Commission through funding from the Urban Art Program, with support from Glendale Library, Arts & Culture.
