Vaccine Influencers Can Help Their Community Fight COVID-19

Glendale Library, Arts & Culture (GLAC) is starting an initiative to increase COVID-19 vaccine uptake in the city by recruiting and training community members to become “vaccine influencers” who have the tools to effectively build vaccine confidence with friends and family. GLAC will train vaccine influencers on evidence-based communication strategies, how to handle misinformation, and the basics of how vaccines work.

Vaccine influencers will have access to vetted resources and support, and be able to use an app to track their progress as they engage in conversations with loved ones and deepen their knowledge.

Vaccine Influencers Training for English Speakers

Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 13 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
