To celebrate the giving spirit of the holidays, employees, physicians, board members, and volunteers at Dignity Health-Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, along with the LA Galaxy, donated wish list items for close to 500 students from Cerritos Elementary School in the Glendale Unified School District. The LA Galaxy Star Squad was accompanied by LA Galaxy midfielder Efrain Alvarez to help distribute gifts to the students as they joined in the holiday festivities along with representatives from Glendale police and fire departments. Santa made a grand entrance riding in the fire truck and giving high-fives along his way. Presents – including science kits, soccer balls, games, art supplies, and other requested items from the children’s wish lists – were distributed to all of the kids by Santa, Alvarez, Glendale Memorial Hospital President Jill Welton and volunteers.
