LAPD Asking Public’s Help Regarding Stabbing Victim

Los Angeles Police Dept. – Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect/suspects involved in the murder of a man found on Jan. 15 at 7:35 a.m. with multiple stab wounds.

Luis Garcia, 55, from La Crescenta has been identified by the LA County Coroner’s Office as the victim who was fatally stabbed at Cleon Avenue and Stagg Street in Sun Valley. The victim was found lying on the ground near an SUV. Los Angeles paramedics responded and Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. The Coroner’s Office has determined the victim died due to wounds suffered during the stabbing.
