La Crescenta resident Suzette Van Sleeuwen eyes a poster of actress-writer Holland Taylor as “Ann” at the Pasadena Playhouse. The play follows the life of the late Texas governor Ann Richards.

Taylor was given a standing ovation at the Saturday, April 23 matinee. The popular play had audience members asking for an extension of the production.
