Crescenta Valley Community Regional Park, 3901 Dunsmore Ave., will be offering a Parks at Sunset program. Green spaces, physical activity and social connections play a powerful role in health, fitness and overall wellbeing, according to LA County Parks & Recreation. Even the simple act of taking in a sunset can have a positive impact on mental health.

Today, May 26, the park will host a free drop-in activity during sunset that includes a variety of family-friendly activities including mediation, yoga, dance and painting. There will be a performance by renowned the Latin guitar duo Carbé & Durand.
