US Forest Service in the Angeles National Forest is responding to a brush fire in the Bailey Canyon area of ANF. The fire began about noon today, Thursday.

Los Angeles County and City fire departments are assisting US Forest Service. So far it is a one acre fire in light grass and shrubs in a “scarred” area (an area that has burned recently), according to Dana Dierkes, ANF spokeswoman.
